Our Story

Growing up around the candy business and working at Wythe Candy & Gourmet from a young age, owning a candy store has always been Kimberly Angles’ dream. Her father, Gordon Angles, began operating Wythe Candy & Gourmet in 1974 and was a fixture of the daily activities until ultimately selling the business in 2002.

After college, Kimberly continued to work in the specialty food and candy industry for nearly 30 years until the opportunity to purchase Wythe Candy & Gourmet presented itself. When this opportunity became available, a partnership was formed with her father and Kimberly’s dream became reality.

Choosing the highest quality products and vendors will continue to be the top priority at Wythe Candy & Gourmet. We pride ourselves in partnering with as many local and small businesses to find products that are both unique, delicious, and enjoyable.
